Long Story Short (#658)

How to tell a very long story in one sentence:

On my way from the interior netherland of Colorado to New Mexico , I drove the last 40 miles of a 250 mile trip on gas fumes (well, fuel light on and gauge hovering on empty), had dishware and glasses fly out of a cabinet while driving, (yes, glass bits everywhere),  got caught up in the middle of an army convoy traveling at 40 miles an hour (which probably saved me some gas, which probably is the reason I made it to the gas station), found out the state park I was supposed to stay at was full for the night, travelled another 100 miles to Storrie Lake where I found the last first-come, first-serve campsite.

Today I rediscovered the true meaning of faith.
