Dead Center Of Nowhere (#657)

What luck to have need of repairs while nestled in a little burg dead center of nowhere. I should be south of Colorado today but fierce winds and a leaking valve in my bathroom have kept me stationary for another day.  Good thing!

Because I am in the tiniest of towns among the most wonderful people.  My gracious hosts gave me the name of the only mobile RV repairman for miles around.

Bernie came out this Sunday morning and replaced the cracked valve and gave me the added benefit of his vast wealth of knowledge on healthy living, natural supplements and minerals.

So now all is back to normal. The winds are still howling but due to blow themselves out by this evening.

I will continue my journey tomorrow; always grateful for a surprise spring snowstorm and a leaky valve.

Serendipity brings such wonderful gifts of kind and helpful strangers.  And strangers become friends.  And that is why I am always at home on the road.

May you be so blessed ~

It’s your peaceful and kind nature that leave you open to this sort of experience. How wonderful! I’ll bet Bernie is also grateful that the winds blew in such a lovely lady. Your stories confirm my faith in the goodness of the world.
