South Dakota Sojourn (#655)

It was not planned, this brief sojourn in South Dakota.  I was meant to stay thru the summer, working at a job, exploring the Black Hills.

I had some wonderful weeks here, taking some fond memories of the wilderness I encountered, leaving a bit of my heart in the sacred mountains.

I guess summer time would have been better. No snow for me. I would be out of there big time. I do love the pictures of your wildlife. Cute little squirrel with the red tail. Safe travels Annie
