SeaLight (#602)

The start of my 2016 summer was awesome.  As a massage therapist I was doing 3 massages a week and working part time in the beach store.

I had three days off to relax and walk and explore and create.  I was right where I wanted to be.

As the season got busier and there was a shortage of staff, I took on more hours, working five days a week, and stopped doing massages.

Now I feel ill and stressed, tired and out of touch with myself.  I feel like I have lost my groove.

So to recharge and restore my balance, I am making much needed adjustments to my work  schedule; taking time for healing.

I am seeing my light returning.

I hope you all are enjoying a wondrous summer and not getting caught up in other’s expectations of you.

I am at Olympic national park in Washington. I went to the beach yesterday. It had millions of smooth rocks and black sand. I thought of you and looked for heart shaped rocks. I didn’t find any. I got two flat smooth rocks to paint pictures on. Take it easy and be strong again. I did find a rock that looked like a happy face. I took a picture of it. Going down 101 today. It is cold here.at the top of Washington.

    • The trick to finding a heart shaped rock is to see it first in your mind’s eye.
Hope you had a most wonderful trip. I play the Celtic album Fairie Tales whenever I walk the
beach lately and say a silent thanks to you for helping me to discover this wonderful music.
