On my last day in Oregon, I visited a wrecked ship, walked miles of beach and found an unusual piece of driftwood.
On the beach today, I was walking along and thinking I would like to find a piece of driftwood in the shape of a heart. Not 2 seconds later….
As a child I grew up in a little coal mining town in Pennsylvania. Spring evenings, I would drift into dreamland while listening to Spring peepers (little frogs) chorusing outside my bedroom window.
Tonight, on the other side of the continent, I am again hearing Spring peepers chorusing outside my window. What a pleasant way to round out my travels in Oregon.
Thankful for wishes come true, a gloriously sunny day, and memories come to light once more ~
