From The Sierra Nevadas To My West Coast Home (#412)

A week ago I arrived on the west coast after a journey of 2,600 miles.

Entering California through Tahoe National Forest in the Sierra Nevadas was a treat I had not previously encountered.

I started out at over 7,000 feet above sea level.  Over the course of a couple hours dropping to sea level when I got to the coast.
